All efforts will be made to accommodate ill children within 24 hours when appropriate. Advice will be available from one of our skilled office staff during office hours and patients have access to on-call nurse line 24/7 if necessary. Sick visits usually focus on a single problem. Call as early in the morning as possible as we have openings available at the start of each workday for sick visits. The phone line opens at 8am.
During these appointments, we have an opportunity to review with the parents issues regarding general health, immunizations, nutrition, behavioral problems, school and learning problems and other psycho-social or developmental issues that arise. We feel strongly that complete physicals done by the primary care provider with a parent present are in your child’s best interest.
Note: Additional Concerns During Well Visit Effective October 1, 2015: Changes in legislation require that any care provided outside of a standard well check up will need to be documented and billed separately and will involve a copayment and or deductible payment.
We use CHADIS so make sure complete your child’s SURVEY thru patient portal before arriving at your appointment.
Well visits can be made up to 12 months in advance conveniently thru our Patient Portal or calling our office.
